This is good list…I like the very first one!! Most inspiring! I like No.18 too. Long time ago, I kept a journal of inspiring quotes…now they are so accessible through Google!

I love that motivational quotes help us to feel better about situations, that they challenge us to be more than we are, especially when naysayers have thrown the proverbial bricks at you. Yes, where would we be without Google? I love IF by Kipling as well. It’s great! 🙂

      Blessings!

  19. Hi Bill,

I find that quotes are very uplifting. Sometimes when I get the AHA moment, I copy the quote on a post-it and put it on my computer where I can see it all day and repeat it in my mind.

It is sort of a affirmation to change my neuro-linking to my sub conscious. Love stuff like that.

I love all the quotes above but this one stuck with me
Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning. ~ Robert Kiyosaki

When our mindset is stuck on that fear of loosing..we are truly stuck and cannot move forward. I love the excitement of winning.

    • Hi Donna,
I know you’ve been busy as of late, so I appreciate you taking time to stop in here and add value with your thoughts. 🙂
One motivational quote that really grabbed my attention was by the late John O’Donohue when he said, “It’s the unseen life that dreams us.”
      That is powerful!!!

I agree with you. Fear is debilitating. It is then that we need to be forward focused and divert our attention on solutions, rather than allowing the what-if scenarios to play out in our mind.

      Have an awesome week!
      Bill

  20. As you know (because I share your quotes on social media) I am a freak for quotes. They invoke so many emotions, thoughts and connotations. They say things in a way I feel, in a way I cannot express. Big fan of quotes!
Will be coming here a few times for a few to share I think!

    • Hi Becc,
I’m very glad to hear that because I have published a number of encouraging inspirational and motivational quotes now.

  22. Hi Bill,

These are really inspiring collection! I especially love this: “Don’t let the fear of losing be greater than the excitement of winning”.

Whenever an opportunity present itself to me, I’m like, “what if I fail? What if it doesn’t work? What if… Forget it. I have to be taking risks. I have to get going.”

    • Hi Krisma,
Isn’t it amazing how many people allow fear to control their lives? And worry over the silliest things? But that is human nature, and until we learn to conquer our ego and live authentically according to our true selves, society will go on struggling and striving, rather than flourishing and thriving.
I like how you flipped that around. Glad you see the need to be better. 🙂

  23. Hi Bill,
